Schools Program

We are currently in over 20 schools providing p.e lessons, after school clubs such as dance/football/multi-sports/netball and breakfast clubs for children who need a top up in maths or English. We teach over 1000 children during a school week offering encouragement, good quality coaching and we provide a positive role model for the pupils in our schools.

For more information on our schools program, please contact our Community Development Manager Paul Cowie at: paul.cowie@solihullmoorsfc.co.uk

Moor Vitality

Created to help children to live a healthier lifestyle so we can make a difference in their lives, we fitness test pupils in 5 different exercises with the results being recorded to enable us to have data so we can track improvement . In between the tests we work in small groups with the children to improve their fitness as well as sitting down with them to talk about food & diet, then when we re-test them we see a high percentage of children showing improvement.

Moor Football

Through our Social Inclusion scheme (Moor Football) we are giving boys and girls from all backgrounds the opportunity to play football by providing a venue, equipment and coaching for them. Currently we are running 3 nights Thursday 4.30-6pm at Smithswood Sports College, Friday 6-8pm at North Solihull Sports Centre in Chelmsley Wood and 12-2pm at Tudor Grange ( Solihull College ). Some of the boys who attend are now playing for Moors teams, have completed work experience with us and are volunteering on our holiday camps.
