Solihull Moors youngsters got to experience the England National Team Training Base in all its glory for a Frame Football tournament last Sunday.
The tournament, held at St George’s Park, was in honour of Richard Seedhouse who sadly passed away and was the driving force behind Frame Football.
The Moors entered two teams in two separate two age groups.
The older age group were joint winners along with Basildon, after having an identical record over the three matches played against each other.
The younger age group (aged 9-12) were fantastic, worked hard for each other and were a credit to Solihull Moors Football Club.
Aaron, Harrison and Zac turned out for the younger group, while Tom, Jake, Reed and Josh were members of the older group.
To top off the day, a number of England Under 21 players came out to have their photographs taken with the group, along with manager Aidy Boothroyd.
Barry Walker and Joe Butler coached the teams and said: “The performance from the lads made us feel really proud that they were representing our club, along with the great enthusiastic support from the parents.”
There is another tournament back at St George’s Park on 29th September.
