Tim Flowers on the match...
"It was a tough evening, but I thought we were very effective. I thought we created a shed load of chances and didn’t take them – but for some very good goalkeeping from Peers in goal for them who had an outstanding night.
"We could’ve been out of sight by half-time. We then get a super goal – a great strike from Darren (Carter) to go two up.
"You think that there’s a bit of breathing space and then they get a penalty straight away. You never know then.
"I thought we deserved the win and it was a good, solid, professional away performance.
"We’re looking solid and we’re moving in the right direction.
"It’s a big, big three points away from home for us."
Tim Flowers on being hard to beat and remaining grounded...
"We’ve got to keep working, keep our heads down and take every game as they come.
"There’s plenty of football still left to play, but we’ve given ourselves a good chance.
"We were resolute – the back four were outstanding. This is not an easy place to come, they’ve had good results and are still very much sniffing around the play-off situation.
"He’s (Steve Watson) been unfortunate that he’s lost some players, but that’s not our concern. We have to concentrate on our job.
"In the end we stood firm and we’re a far better team than we were last year. We’ve got better players and we’re an all-round better football club.
"It was a wonderful result for us. It was always going to be tough – four hours on the bus coming up and four going back I expect.
"I thought the lads were very professional and we move onto the trophy on Saturday against Halifax."
