The experienced target man has played nine seasons in the National League in service of seven clubs, totalling over 100 goals across more than 300 games.
Danny began his career at Dereham Town before transferring to Histon. It was then onto Cambridge United where he spent one season being the top scorer in a struggling team, before leaving for Wrexham with whom he won the FA Trophy against Grimsby in 2013. That was followed by a year at Forest Green, before 5 months at both Gateshead and Kidderminster.
In June 2015 Danny signed a one-year deal at Cheltenham Town who were promoted to the Football league at the end of that season when he was Supporters Player of the Season.
In the 2016–17 season, he made his Football League debut at the age of 31 against Leyton Orient on 6 August.
