Davisons Law, principal partner of Solihull Moors FC, has handed over its Match ball sponsorship package for the club's home fixture against Halifax Town on 21st March to help raise awareness for the charity's lifesaving work.

The firm raised £24,000 for Cure Leukaemia throughout 2025 as a founding member of the charity's Club 10 initiative, more than doubling its £10,000 annual pledge through employee fundraising and event sponsorships.

Darryl Wilkes, Equity Director at Davisons Law, said: "Being part of the Solihull community means everything to us. A year on from opening our new office on Warwick Road, our roots here are stronger than ever - and that means backing the causes that matter. Handing over our matchday package to Cure Leukaemia felt like the natural thing to do.

The work they do for children fighting blood cancer is extraordinary and if we can use our position as principal partner to shine a light on that, we absolutely should."

Dave Boddy, CEO at Solihull Moors, added: “As a Club, we’re grateful to Davisons Law for their generous support of this weekend’s match and in particular, for their decision to donate the sponsorship to Cure Leukaemia, a cause that does such important work and a charity which the Moors already supports.
It’s fantastic to see one of our valued partners using their matchday sponsorship in this way - it reflects the strong sense of community and togetherness that exists around the Club. We’re proud to be able to support Cure Leukaemia through this fixture and we hope the day helps raise both awareness and vital funds for the charity.”

Cure Leukaemia CEO James McLaughlin said: "It’s fantastic to see Davison’s Law and Solihull Moors FC teaming up to champion our cause in such a significant way and a brilliant initiative that will raise vital awareness of Cure Leukaemia. We thank Davison’s Law for their ongoing generosity and the Moors for being such incredible hosts; their combined support is helping us move closer to a cure.”

The match against Halifax Town kicks off at 5.30pm on 21st March. Fans are encouraged to come along and show their support.

Solihull Moors were left frustrated on the road as a strong second-half showing was cancelled out by a resilient Brackley Town fightback. The Moors were forced to settle for a point on the road as Brackley Town fought back in the second half at St James Park. The hosts began on the front foot, although clear-cut chances were at a premium in a scrappy opening period. It was the Moors who carved out the first real opportunity, as Jamey Osborne delivered a superb ball over the top for Bradley Stevenson, whose well-struck volley was matched by an equally impressive save from Maxted. Brackley came closest to breaking the deadlock in the 36th minute. A deep cross from Roberts found Lowe rising highest, but his header crashed against the crossbar with Laurie Walker beaten, ensuring the sides went into the interval level after a stop-start first half. The Moors emerged after the break with renewed intent and were rewarded early in the second period. Isaac Moore picked up possession on the edge of the area and drilled a low effort beyond the Brackley goalkeeper to give the visitors the advantage. Moments later, the hosts were reduced to ten men as former Moors striker Tavon Campbell was shown a red card following an aerial challenge. Despite their numerical disadvantage, Brackley responded with determination and gradually worked their way back into the contest. Their persistence paid off in the 75th minute when Lowe found space inside the area and fired past Walker to restore parity. Neither side was able to find a decisive moment in the closing stages, with the game losing momentum following the equaliser as both teams were forced to settle for a share of the spoils.

The Moors make the trip to Brackley Town for what is their second closest away fixture in the Enterprise National League. Both sides come into this game looking to bounce back after heavy defeats at the weekend, with Brackley Town falling to a 4-1 loss against Woking. There is little to separate the teams in recent form, with now just seven points between them. The Moors currently sit 22nd in the form table, while Brackley Town are just behind in 24th. The last meeting between the sides saw the Moors claim all three points, courtesy of a late winner from Creaney.

Five-star Wealdstone take advantage of Moors’ poor form The home side started quickly and took the lead in the 12th minute. A well-delivered free-kick was met by McAvoy, whose header flew into the top-left corner and left Laurie Walker with no chance. Wealdstone continued to dominate throughout the first half, but went into the break with only a one-goal advantage, leaving the Moors with hope heading into the second period. That hope was dented in the 56th minute when Adarkwa found space on the right wing, drove forward, cut inside onto his right foot and fired an uncontested effort into the bottom-right corner. The Stones struck again just three minutes later as Tshikuna made it three, lashing a powerful shot into the left side of the net from outside the box. Conor Wilkinson pulled one back for the Moors on 64 minutes, but Wealdstone responded immediately from the restart. Substitute Agyemang played Obiero through, and he made no mistake in front of goal. Tiensia then added a fifth for the hosts from close range six minutes later to round off a difficult afternoon for the Moors.

The Moors Lotto was launched to help support and fund the continued growth of Solihull Moors FC, both on and off the pitch – and thanks to the fantastic support from our fans, it’s already making a real difference. We’re delighted to share that the Moors Lotto is now profitable for the Club, with funds being reinvested directly into improving the fan experience at Damson Park. One of the first projects funded by the Lotto was a brand-new PA system in the Trevor Stevens Suite, enabling the SMSA to host interviews with people at the heart of the club and bring supporters closer than ever to the Moors. Solihull Moors FC and Solihull Moors Foundation came together to show their support for inclusion and accessibility in football, through the Unite for Access Campaign. The recent fixture at Damson Park served as a dedicated matchday in support of the campaign, a national initiative led by Level Playing Field that promotes accessibility and inclusion for disabled sports fans. Delivered by Solihull Moors Foundation, the day created an opportunity for children, young people and adults to enjoy and experience a welcoming and inclusive matchday environment. Throughout the day, more than 200 children, young people and adults joined us altogether at Damson Park to celebrate the Unite For Access campaign. Participants took part in a range of activities and activations on the astro. The energy and enthusiasm from everyone involved created a fantastic atmosphere, highlighting the importance of providing inclusive and accessible opportunities within sport. Joining us on the day were SuperSEN and Solihull Advert Through Advocacy, who helped share the initiative and show their support for the Unite For Access campaign. The Foundation was also delighted to welcome Madam Mayor and Councillor Karen Grinsell as special guests on the day. We appreciate their continued support and the work they have done alongside the Foundation to help strengthen opportunities within the community. The day also reflected the shared commitment of Solihull Moors Foundation and Solihull Moors to break down barriers and ensure that football remains inclusive and accessible for everyone. Creating opportunities where everyone feels welcome, valued and able to take part is central to the Foundation’s work within the community. Scott Langford, Learning & Accessibility Manager at Solihull Moors Foundation, said: "Inclusion sits at the heart of everything we do at Solihull Moors Foundation. Supporting the Unite For Access campaign is about more than a matchday, it’s about continuing to break down barriers and making sure everyone, regardless of their needs or abilities, feels that football is a place where they belong. We are proud to work with partners, supporters and the wider community to ensure the game remains accessible for all." Both the Solihull Moors F.C. Men’s First Team and the Solihull Moors Women's First Team proudly showed their support for the Unite For Access campaign across the weekend, demonstrating a shared commitment across the club to champion accessibility and inclusion in football. By collectively backing the campaign, the teams helped highlight the importance of ensuring the game remains welcoming and accessible for everyone. Their support reinforced the club-wide values of inclusion, unity and opportunity, while helping raise awareness of the need to continue breaking down barriers so that disabled supporters and participants can fully engage with football and the matchday experience.
