James Quinn originally joined the Moors in 2018 alongside manager Tim Flowers, with his spell at the Moors lasting until 2023. He returned to Damson Park in September 2025 to take over as caretaker manager. After the appointment of Chris Millington and Andy Cooper, Quinn stayed on as First Team Coach.

Quinn made over 400 appearances in his playing career, with over 100 coming in the top flight of English Football. He also represented Northern Ireland a total of 53 times.

James has played a key role in Solihull Moors under Chris & Andy so far.
