Chris Millington and his Solihull Moors side are set to welcome a Barrow side led by Adam Murray to Damson Park in their latest fixture in the ongoing 2026/27 Enterprise National League season. The Moors will be vying for all three points as they look to get the better of the Bluebirds and climb the table. As a football club, Barrow AFC have plenty of history. They were founded all the way back on 16 th July 1901, with them playing their home games at ‘The Strawberry’ in the early years of its life, before then moving to a new home at Ainslie Street a few years later in September 1904. They then moved to Little Park in March 1905, winning their first piece of silverware there when they won the Lancashire Combination Division One title in 1908. 1909 was when they decided to move to what is their current home to this very day, Holker Street, with them beating Eccles Borough by an emphatic scoreline of 5 – 2 in their first competitive game at the ground. By 1917, the club decided to cease playing football due to transport difficulties in the middle of the First World War. Then in the 1933/34 season, they achieved what was Barrow’s highest finish in the Division Three North when they ended up in 8 th place, and on the final day of that season they recorded an incredible 12 – 1 win over Gateshead, with striker Jimmy Shankly scoring all of the goals that day. During that campaign, they scored over 100 league goals, with 78 of those coming in their 21 home league games. In January 1959, shortly after they were moved into Division Four, they took on Wolverhampton Wanderers in an FA Cup tie at Holker Street, and it saw them record a thoroughly deserved 4 – 2 victory against the Old Gold, where it could have been more in terms of goals scored by The Bluebirds that day. Then by August of 1972, Barrow AFC found themselves in the Northern Premier League, but did not have much success in this period. Despite this struggle for Barrow, they still made the decision to join the APL, now known as the National League, at the end of the decade in 1979, defeating Yeovil Town 2 – 0 in the opening game of the 1979/80 campaign. April 1981 saw the club win the ATS Trophy with victory over Wigan Athletic. This was their first trophy since they had dropped down into non-league football. However, by the end of the 1982/83 season, they had succumbed to relegation down to the Northern Premier League, with new boss Vic Halom being confirmed as their new boss being appointed as player/manager by the summer of 1983. Under Halom’s leadership, they would get promoted back to the APL on their first attempt by winning the league title, though not long after that he, alongside their top goalscorer that season, Barry Diamond, both joined Rochdale permanently. In 1988 they reached the FA Trophy semi-final, losing to Enfield, and then the following two seasons saw the Bluebirds win the NPL title and get promoted to the Conference. In 1990, they finally won the FA Trophy when they were able to beat Leek Town by an emphatic scoreline of 3 – 0 at Wembley. We now fast forward to the 1997/98 season, and it saw them, led by boss Owen Brown, who had led them to the NPL title and get to the FA Trophy quarter-finals. After getting sacked, the club had a liquidator appointed due to the extensive debts the club owed at the time, which meant that they were relegated and were entered into the Northern Premier League Premier Division following a successful membership bid following the conclusion of the 1998/99 campaign. The rebuild of the club then began. Former club favourite Kenny Lowe took charge as player/manager in August of 1999, leading the club to the First Round Proper of the historic English FA Cup on as many as three occasions, which was a magnificent achievement for the non-league club. They also won the UniBond Chairman’s Cup in the 2000/01 campaign, and then the President’s Cup the following season (2001/02). Lowe departed at the end of the 2003/04 season, shortly after finishing as runner-up in the league to Accrington Stanley. He was succeeded by his assistant Lee Turnbull, guiding them to third place in the Unibond Premier Division before then winning the President’s Cup title for what was the second time in three years. By the time that the conclusion of the 2007/08 season came around, Barrow found themselves back at the top tier of non-league football, which was then known as the Blue Square Premier, following a 1 – 0 play off final victory over Stalybridge Celtic at the home of Burton Albion Football Club, the Pirelli Stadium. The Bluebirds then had what was a very enjoyable and successful season for the club in the 2009/10 campaign. They did consolidate their place at the top table of the non-league game, whilst also getting to the FA Cup Third Round Proper once again, which was for the second time in a row. They were only beaten 3 – 0 by Premier League club Sunderland. In February 2012, Dave Bayliss took charge, but in the 2012/13 season, they unfortunately saw themselves get relegated after spending their longest spell in the fifth tier since it was relegated from the English Football League back in 1972. In the summer of 2014, there was a takeover of the club that saw Paul Cassin, born in Barrow, take over the club, and by April of 2015, the club had successfully secured itself a place in the Vanarama National League after clinching the National League North title, which was secured on the final day of the season with a 3 – 2 victory over Lowestoft Town. In 2015/16, boss Paul Cox was able to stabilise the club after a dodgy start in their return to life in the fifth tier, guiding them to a top half finish. Further progress was made in the following campaign when they were able to finish as high as 7 th place, their best since losing their Football League status all those years earlier. The club also reached the Third Round Proper of that FA Cup campaign, losing 2 – 1 to Bristol Rovers of League One away from home at the Gas’ stadium, the Memorial Ground. In 2017/18, they narrowly avoided relegation, and by the summer of 2018, Ivan Evatt, who played for the likes of Chesterfield and Blackpool as a defender, took charge of the club. Barrow, by the end of the interrupted 2019/20 campaign, got promoted back to the English Football League after winning the title on a points-per-game basis on 17 th June 2020. It would be their first time back in the fourth tier for more than 48 years. Barrow did go on to enjoy an extended spell back in the English Football League system, with the Bluebird remaining there for the next six years. In the 2023/24 season, under the stewardship of Pete Wild, they came agonisingly close to reaching the play-offs, finishing just a point away with Crawley taking the final spot. Unfortunately for the Holker Street club, they were relegated back out of the Football League and back down to the National League last term (2025/26), and they will hope to make an immediate return to League Two under the stewardship of current boss Adam Murray, who was appointed by the club back in May 2026, ahead of the start of the current 2026/27 season. In the opposition dugout – Adam Murray Adam Murray is the current manager of Barrow AFC, having been appointed by the club as recently as 12 th May 2026, just months before the start of the current season. Murray will be looking to take the Bluebirds back to the English Football League straight away, with promotion being targeted. Barrow is not the first club that he has managed. Murray has also previously taken charge of the likes of Mansfield Town (2014 - 2016), Boston United (2016 - 2017), Barnsley (Caretaker, 2019; Caretaker, 2020), AFC Fylde (2022 - 2023), and Kidderminster Harriers (2025 - 2026). 44-year-old Murray also had a playing career that spanned 20 years, from 1998 right up until his retirement in 2018. He did play for a number of clubs, which included Derby County (1998 - 2003), Mansfield Town (Loan, 2002; 2004 – 2005; Loan, 2010/11; 2011 - 2015), Kidderminster Harriers (Loan, 2003; 2004), Notts County (2003; 2003 - 2004), Burton Albion (2003), Carlisle United (2005 - 2006), Torquay United (2006 - 2007), Macclesfield Town (2007 - 2008), Oxford United (2008 - 2010), Luton Town (2010), Rainworth Miners Welfare (Loan, 2013), Worksop Town (2013), and finally Sutton Coldfield Town in 2018. Key Player – Innes Cameron Innes Cameron is amongst Barrow’s key players and is their leading goal scorer so far this season with 3 as of the time of writing. Cameron joined from Scottish Club Kilmarnock in July 2025, when the club was still in EFL League Two. And, following a loan back in Scotland with Raith Rovers, he is back with Barrow and has been amongst the goals for the Bluebirds so far this term. 26-year-old Cameron has previously played for the likes of the aforementioned Kilmarnock (2016 - 2025), as well as Stranraer (Loan, 2018 - 2019), Ayr United (Loan, 2020), Alloa Athletic (Loan, 2021), and Queen of the South (Loan, 2021 – 2022; Loan, 2022). Introduction Solihull Moors host Barrow at Damson Park on Tuesday night, still looking for their first win of the league season. It was late heartbreak again for Chris Milllington’s side against Aldershot on Saturday, as a 92nd-minute own goal from Max Metcalfe handed the visitors all three points in a 2-1 loss. We saw a similar trend in the Moors 1-1 draw away at Gateshead, where they had 3.29 xG to Gateshead’s 1.04, and had 16 shots with five on target to Gateshead’s seven with two on target. Despite only scoring five goals, Solihull have an xG of 15.47 so far in the National League this season, meaning on the basis of chance value they should have scored three times as many goals as they have. Barrow Form Guide Barrow’s 2-2 draw with Worthing means they themselves only have one win to their name all season (3-0 against Sutton). Like Solihull, they dominated the attacking play against their opponents, finishing the game with 2.96 xG to Worthing’s 1.63. The visitors led 2-0 thanks to a Mikey Lane first-half brace before Dominic Hutchinson struck twice for Worthing for a 2-2 draw. Barrow’s eight goals this season are in line with their xG this season (7.69). Despite only losing once in their last five games, they currently sit 21st in the table. Tactical Insight A key for this tie is just how well Solihull can set up defensively. Chris Millington can be positive about his side's attacking play this season despite sitting bottom of the National League. His side’s total xG of 15.47 for the season means that they are creating chances and are just failing to put them away. A disparity of such numbers will surely work in Solihull’s favour. The likes of Jacob Wakleing and Ben Wodskou are consistent attacking performers, with both racking up 1.50 and 0.36 xG respectively on Saturday. Solihull Moors winless run in the National League continued after losing 2-1 to Aldershot at Damson Park. Chris Millington will be mystified as to how his side didn't gain their first win of the season, with The Moors completely dominating the first half, and also a large chunk of the second, creating chance after chance along the way. Kick off In the opening stages, Jacob Wakeling drove into the box before cutting in from the right and forced a save from Aldershot goalkeeper Jonathan Macaulay. Scott High then tried his luck inside the box, seeing his effort palmed away by Macaulay, before Sbarra also had a chance saved as Solihull began to pepper the visitors with attempts on goal. Shortly after, with the link-up between Wakeling, Wodskou and Sbarra looking increasingly dangerous, Sbarra scooped an effort over the bar from close-range, before again having the ball land at his feet in the box, this time skewing well wide. The Shots keeper did well to intercept a through ball as Wodskou tried to get on the end of a dangerous pass, just before Tyrell Warren had a stinging shot saved from wide on the right. The visitors first chance of note was a teasing cross that was driven in by winger Basil Tuma, who saw the ball evade the outstretched legs of Marcus Wyllie and Tristan Abrahams that came flying into the 6-yard box. Wodskou and Wakeling combined again on the right, ending with Wakeling powdering a shot towards the near post, only to be met by a strong save from the keeper who saved well down low. PENALTY - 21' Moors. The referee pointed to the spot when Jevon Mills had his shirt pulled and was dragged down in the box following a corner. MISSED PENALTY - 22' Ben Wodskou. The Shots keeper continued his incredible start to the game, guessing right and getting a strong hand to Wodskou's strike. High followed up on the rebound but saw his shot blocked before Aldershot cleared the ball away. Still 0-0 With The Moors not feeling sorry for themselves and sensing a goal was coming, Wakeling burst down the right, his cross reaching Sbarra who could only head over when well placed. Abrahams demonstrated his sides frustration from the first half, when he threw himself to the floor in the box after Jevon Mills had made a great block to deny a potential goal. The Shots number 7 was booked for simulation, which was the third Aldershot booking so far, summing up the sides frustrations against a rampant Moors team. A first shot on target for the away team came after a ball into the box was cleverly chested down by Shots captain Michael Strickland, into the path of Wyllie, who struck a tame effort straight into the arms of Max Metcalfe. Wodskou, Sbarra and High combined yet again as the Moors broke in numbers. Highs cross was intercepted just before it could reach a Moors player at the far post. Basil Tuma, who had so far looked the visitors most dangerous player, cut inside and tested Metcalfe with a decent effort that was saved well at his near post after coming in from the right. GOAL - 44' Moors. Some brilliant work in midfield by Jamie Andrews to win the back possession, before sending Wodskou through on the left, the striker fired powerfully across the keeper and into the far corner of the net, sending Solihull Moors fans wild! 1-0 Not content with going a goal ahead, The Moors continued to push forward. High curled a shot towards goal which was easily saved, before Sbarra went even closer with a similar effort, his right-footed, bending shot was heading for the top corner but was again well saved, before Wodskou's follow up was smashed high over the crossbar. Just before the half time whistle, Metcalfe got down well to a powerful effort to make sure his side went in ahead at the break. A terrific first half for the Moors, who could and should have been out of sight already. Second half There were three substitutions for Aldershot at for the start of the second half, highlighting Solihull's threat in the first half. High put in a good cross shortly after the half began, seeing a defender nearly divert the ball into his own net Wodskou went down with what looked to be a potential groin injury around 55 minutes in and was replaced by Callum McFarlane. Desperately unlucky for the attacker after scoring his first National League goal for The Moors, and proving a huge threat throughout, with another all-action performance full of energy and quality. Metcalfe, who was enjoying a reasonably quiet afternoon, pulled off an excellent save at full stretch, doing very well to claw the ball out and then getting to the second ball just before ahead of substitute Alfonso Tenconi, who was ready to tap into the net. At the other end, Andrews put a long throw into the box and McFarlane's headed just off target. At one point, Sbarra got the crowd on their feet as we all began to believe that first won was finally coming. While battling away in the midfield, our number 7 went in for a challenge and saw the ball go high into the air and seemingly heading out of play, but Sbarra, never one to give up, raced to the byline and brilliantly won his side a corner. A few teasing Carson and Woods corners looked dangerous for The Moors, but the best chance fell to Andrews, who shot just wide as Millington's men continued to be on top in the game. Captain Alex Whitmore thought he'd put The Moors two goals to the good, his thunderous effort was deflected over when Malaki incredibly got in the way of his strike. GOAL - 73' Aldershot. Out of nowhere, the away side equalise. A rare attack from The Shots leads to Brody Peart, who had only came onto the pitch a minute earlier, finding space on the edge of the box, hitting a left-footed shot into the bottom corner from the edge of the box. 1-1 Looking to go back ahead in the game, Solihull had a couple of chances. Sbarra whipped a teasing ball onto the penalty spot aiming for the run of Andrews, Macaulay doing well to come and collect right at the feet of The Moors midfield man. Andrews launched a couple of long throws into the box, but the second goal just evaded us as we began to run out of steam. GOAL - 90+2. Aldershot. Wow, unbelievable. A dangerous corner is whipped in by Jordan Alves, and Metcalfe attempted to claw the ball away, but the referee gave the goal. A cruel, cruel own goal for the Moors keeper in almost the last action of the game. 1-2 Full time - Solihull Moors 1-2 Aldershot. Tristan Abrahams has been their most productive forward this season, with five goals from eight shots, five of them on target, and an xG of 1.37, the biggest gap between chances and goals scored in either squad. Defensively, they have averaged a defensive action for closer to every nine or ten opponent passes. Tactical Insight One area worth watching is the aerial contest between Solihull Moors' forward players and Aldershot central defenders. Jacob Wakeling won only one of his nine aerial duels against Gateshead, and Ben Wodskou won three of his eight. Aldershot back-line fared better in the air in their own last match: Kiki Oshilaja won three of four aerial duels and Michael Stickland five of nine, both close to or above half. Chris Millington’s Solihull Moors side welcome an Aldershot Town side who are led by the current Head Coach, Scott Davies, in this Enterprise National League game on the afternoon of Saturday 12 th September. Millington’s Moors will be looking to get all three points against The Shots. The most recent competitive game for Aldershot saw them come face to face with FC Halifax Town, also at home, where they would go on to win the game thanks to a winning goal from Marcus Wyllie with just ten minutes of the ninety to go. This sees them now sat up in 9 th place in England’s fifth tier at present. Aldershot Town are, of course, a phoenix club. The original club was founded as Aldershot Football Club back in 1926, and they would go on to play in the English Football League for 60 years from 1932 to 1992, which was when they were dissolved. The club ceased to exist due to financial debts that saw them resign from the Football League. Aldershot Town Football Club were then founded to take the place of the old club back on 22 nd April 1992, with their first ever manager being former centre back Steve Wignall, who played for the club for 5 years between 1986 and 1991 at the end of his 19 year playing career. The club began life in the Isthmian League Division Three for the 1992/93 season, with their home games still being played at The Recreation Ground, as they are to this day. They won their first game there against Clapton, beating them 4 – 2 in front of a crowd of 1,493, more than the crowd that had attended the former club’s final home game at this same stadium. They won their first ten games in a row, and only lost one game all season, winning the league title by an incredible 18 points in the end. Their only loss was in an away game against the aforementioned Clapton, with Mark Butler and Steve Stairs scoring a combined total of 62 goals between them during that league campaign. Their first home defeat actually didn’t come until after 20 months, 35 games in total, when they were only defeated by Banstead Athletic in April 1994. At the end of that 1993/94 season, they had been promoted again, whilst also making it to the FA Vase Quarter Finals. Boss Wignall left for Colchester United a few months before that, in January 1994, and was replaced by Steve Wigley, formerly a winger for Nottingham Forest. We now fast forward to the 2002/03 season, during which they had a very successful campaign under the temporary charge of Stuart Cash. They claimed the title to get themselves a historic promotion to the Football Conference whilst also lifting further silverware in the form of the Hampshire Senior Cup, after they were able to get the better of Bashley. In their first season back at the fifth tier of the English Football Pyramid, they were able to remain in the play-off positions for much of the campaign, meaning that they were once again in contention for promotion. However, they were to go on to lose on penalty kicks following a 1 – 1 draw with Shrewsbury Town at the home of Stoke City, then known as the Britannia Stadium. The club went full time the following season. The 2004/05 season saw more play-off disappointment. It was not until the 2007/08 season that the club were able to finally celebrate a promotion back into the English Football League following a season that saw them win no less than 31 league games, whilst also earning a league record of 101 points to pair with their record number of victories in the division that season. This was done under the stewardship of then manager Gary Waddock. In the 2008/09 season, they achieved a very respectable 6 th place finish, which improved on the 13 th place finish in their first season back at this level. They did play Manchester United at home in an eye-catching FA Cup tie during the 2011/12 season, though they did lose 3 – 0 to Sir Alex Ferguson’s side. However, they were soon to return to the National League, getting relegated under the management of Andy Scott, who had been appointed late in the season following the resignation of former boss Dean Holdsworth. Soon after the club returned to the fifth tier, they suffered financial difficulties and were entered into administration with a reported debt of as much as £1.4 million. A consortium, led by the former Chairman Shahid Azeem, then eventually took ownership of the club on August 1 st 2013. They would begin the 2013/14 National League season with a points deduction of ten points in total. Incredibly, The Shots had wiped out this points deficit by the first week of September following a draw and three wins in their first seven games to open the season. They were still plunged into a relegation battle that saw them secure safety thanks to a 2 – 1 win on Easter Monday against their local rivals Woking in what was the penultimate game of the campaign. This win against Woking was part of a run of four wins out of their last seven games of that particular season. By 31 st August 2014, it had been announced that the club had paid off all of its debts, an incredible two years ahead of schedule. Fast forward to the 2016/17 season, when they came close to promotion back to the English Football League once more. This was following an amazing run of just one loss in their final 21 league games of the season under the stewardship of boss Barry Smith. Unfortunately for The Shots, they were to go on and suffer a heavy 5 – 2 aggregate loss over two legs against Tranmere Rovers in the semi-finals. They did, though, have the meanest defence after only conceding 37 goals all season, also having the most clean sheets with as many as 22. The joint top goalscorers that season were Bernard Mensah and Scott Rendall, both with 13 goals each in all competitions. Aldershot came dangerously close to relegation to the sixth tier for the first time in 16 years during the 2017/18 campaign, finishing in the relegation zone. However, they were spared relegation after Gateshead’s demotion due to financial irregularities. We now move on to the recent 2023/24 campaign, where, following the promotion of Wrexham to League Two, Aldershot Town Football Club then became the longest-serving club at the fifth level of the English Football Pyramid, with 11 seasons there in total at that point. An 8 th place finish with 69 points was achieved, followed by a total of 57 points in the following campaign, finishing down in 16 th place in 2024/25. Last season, in the 2025/26 campaign, they were able to accumulate a grand total of 46 points that saw them finish narrowly above the relegation zone in 20 th place in the end. As of the time of writing, they sit as high as 9 th place in the National League, with a total of 11 points from their first 6 games, and they will hope to have a much more positive season by the end of the ongoing 2026/27 Enterprise National League campaign. In the opposition dugout – Scott Davies Current Aldershot Manager Scott Davies has been in charge ever since his appointment by The Shots ahead of the current campaign back on 27 th April 2026, with this being his first full season in charge of the club in the hot seat at the Recreation Ground. He previously had a successful spell in charge of Slough between 2022 and 2026, which was the 38 year old’s first ever job in senior club management. Davies also had an extensive playing career ahead of his new career in coaching and football management. Only retiring in following his departure as player-manager of Slough back in April 2026, his playing career spanned no less than 20 years, where he had also spent time at the likes of Reading (2006 - 2011), Yeading (Loan, 2006), Aldershot Town (Loan, 2007 – 2008; Loan 2008/09; Loan, 2011 – 2012; 2026), Wycombe Wanderers (Loan, 2009 – 2010; 2010), Yeovil Town (Loan, 2010), Bristol Rovers (Loan, 2011), Crawley Town (2011 - 2012), Oxford United (2013 - 2014), Dunstable Town (2014 - 2015), Wealdstone (2015 - 2016), Oxford City (2016 - 2017), Chelmsford City (2017 - 2018), Slough Town (2018 – 2019; 2019 - 2026), Kingstonian (2019), Harlow Town (2019), Biggleswade Town (Loan, 2020), Staines Town (Loan, 2020), Beaconsfield Town (2021), and also Risborough Rangers (2022). Solihull Moors were beaten 3-1 by Leeds U21 at Damson Park in the National League Cup, as the wait for our first win of the season goes on. A much-changed Moors side that saw only Cam Green, (stand-in captain due to Alex Whitmore's absence), Ryan Woods and Ben Wodskou retain their places from Saturday's 1-1 draw away at Gateshead. Nat Ford started in goal, with Craig Farquhar and Justin Hanks coming into the defence. Ben Worman made a return from injury, and Flynn Coffey made his full competitive debut for The Moors. It was a bright start to game for both sides, with Solihull looking to go on the front foot, and Leeds zipping the ball around nicely. Ben Wodskou had the first sniff of a chance, attempting to nip in behind the defence following a mistake, only to be denied by a good challenge. GOAL - 10' Moors. A great touch from Matty Carson saw him beat his man down the left-hand side, The Moors defender then sent an inch-perfect cross to the back post for Callum McFarlane to hook back into the path of Wodskou a couple of yards out, the striker tapping in to put his side ahead. 1-0 Coffey had a good opportunity to double the lead, some nice footwork in the box leading to him unleashing an effort that went just over the bar. GOAL - 19' Leeds U21. Harvey Vincent received the ball on the right-wing and put in a cross towards that went over the head of everybody, including goalkeeper Ford, and into the far corner of the goal. 1-1 After seeing Vincent's cross end up in the net, Carson had a couple of attempts of his own, the first following a brilliantly executed pass over the top from Ryan Woods, before seeing the ball flash wide of the far post on both occasions. Wodskou's work-rate and persistence forced opportunities for himself on several occasions, another good tackle prevented the attacker from breaking through one-on-one, before then lashing an effort over from long-range. A promising Leeds attack ended with Ford doing well to claim a powerful low cross that was heading towards an attacker in the box as the game remained open and entertaining. GOAL - 38' Leeds U21. Another Leeds attack led to a strike on goal that was brilliantly blocked by Justin Hanks, who was unfortunate to see the ball fall to Freddie Lane, the Leeds number 10 side-footed past Ford, via a slight deflection, to put his side ahead for the first time on the night. 1-2 Immediately after the goal, Ryan Woods was replaced by Luca Hancock. Vincent had a great opportunity to score his second, bending a wonderful effort towards the top corner, only for Green to read the shot and head off the line. Right-back Vincent almost replicated his earlier goal from another cross, this time the ball sailed just over the bar. The second half began and The Moors were on the front foot again, Carson finding Wodskou with a great ball down the line, who the cut in and laid the ball into the box, unfortunately nobody could capitalise. Green prevented another almost certain goal, Njinko curling an effort from outside the box, that Green deflected inches wide of the post. DISSALLOWED GOAL - 58' Leeds U21. Some nice footwork in the box from Leeds midfielder Mcdonald led to the ball been smashed into the net, but the linesman flagged for offside. 1-2 A Moors corner was swung in onto the head of Wodskou, with Leeds keeper Rory Mahady doing excellently to get a hand to the strikers flick, and putting the ball behind for a corner. The resulting corner fell to Wodskou, and again Mahady pulled off a terrific reaction save, the ball then falling to Ben Worman, who's effort was caught by the Leeds keeper. Substitute Joe Sbarra combined well with Wodskou to win a ball in the box, Sbarra attempting an overhead flicked effort that looped harmlessly over the bar. Ford kept the score at 1-2 when he came rushing out to deny an effort from Mills. Scott High had a strike from the edge of the box deflected for another corner, which looked destined to be nodded in by Farquhar, but the defender misjudged the flight of the ball and headed wide. GOAL - 73' Leeds U21. As Solihull attacked, Leeds hit them with a counter-attack, the space opened up nicely on the right for Freddie Lane to cut in on his left foot and send his effort past the dive of Ford. 1-3 SENDING OFF - 78' Cam Green (Solihull Moors) + Carrick Njinko (Leeds U21). A late challenge from Farquhar led to a melee as tensions boiled over in a game that until this point, had been played in a great spirit. After a lengthy discussion between the officials, the referee sent off both Green and Njinko, aswell as dishing out 3 yellow cards. Once play resumed, Tyrell Warren had a cross deflected wide of the goal, and hammered an effort just over the bar as The Moors tried to find a way back into the game. Josh Render had a great chance to finally put the game to bed, but his shot went just wide of Ford's post. GOAL - 97' Moors. Rio Shipston played a ball out to Sbarra on the right-wing, the midfielder then whipped the ball into Scott High, who made no mistake from the edge of the 6-yard box to reduce the deficit Full time.
