Moors ran out as 3-0 winners against the league's bottom side.
Solihull Moors Women returned to league action with a win on Sunday afternoon with a 3-0 away victory over Long Eaton United.
Three first half goals from Becky Knight (two), and another from Tiana Russell-Cartwright put the points beyond any doubt before the interval.
Tom Blaymires' side cruised to victory in the second half on their first league outing since October.
The Moors boss made four changes from the team that started our last competitive outing against AFC Fylde in the Women's FA Cup.
Demi Walker, Cheryl Edwards and Lyndsey Ross-Baker all dropped to the bench, whilst Shannon McFadden wasn't in the matchday squad.
Knight provided a focal point upfront in a Moors line-up that began as a three-at-the-back to provide more width.
Moors went into the game as heavy favourites against a struggling Long Eaton side, but the hosts looked bright in the early stages and almost threatened in the couple of occasions that they ventured into the Moors half.
However, Blaymires' side quickly stamped their authority on proceedings, and went close through Knight inside the opening 10 minutes when she tried to prod home a low Jess Howard cross.
From then on it was all Moors, and with 22 minutes gone Knight grabbed the opener when she superbly arched her neck to glance a Cheyanne Jarvis cross into the bottom left corner.
Headed efforts seemed to be the theme of the day for Moors, who again went close to a second, five minutes later when Abby Jackson nodded a corner inches over the bar.
It was Knight though, who was a constant thorn in the side of the hosts, and with 33 minutes gone she had hers, and Moors' second.
Following a corner, the ball fell to Eva Rogers on the right-hand-side of the box, she found an unmarked Knight, who powered her header home from six yards out.
By this point the half-time whistle couldn't come soon enough for the hosts, and unfortunately for them the lead was extended just before the break. Rogers produced another cross from the right and at the far post it was Russell-Cartwright arriving to cushion a volley into the bottom corner for a crucial third.
Half-time: Long Eaton United Ladies 0-3 Solihull Moors Women
The second half was comfortable for Moors, with Harley Savage untested in goal throughout the period.
Knight went close to making it a hat-trick of headers in the 55th minute, but her effort rose inches above the bar, and she was withdrawn a minute later.
Blaymires rang the changes and one of those, Lyndsey Ross-Baker looked most threatening in the closing stages, she rounded the goalkeeper but a recovering defender slid on the line to deny her an immediate impact.
Ross-Baker had another effort in the dying minutes that fired just wide, whilst Cheryl Edwards blazed over from 12 yards after good work from Ellie Gibbs.
However, it meant little in the end as Moors returned to winning ways in comfortable fashion.
