Three-year deals for Flowers, Whild and Quinn...

Solihull Moors are delighted to announce that Manager Tim Flowers, Assistant Manager Gary Whild and First Team Coach James Quinn have all committed their futures to the Club on a long-term basis.

The management trio have signed new and improved three-year contracts which sees them through to June 2022.

Last season, under Flowers’ stewardship, the Club finished in its highest ever position in the league, reached the 2nd round of the FA Cup and advanced to the quarter finals of the FA Trophy.

Darryl Eales, Solihull Moors’ Chairman, said: “I’m sure everyone connected with the Club will be delighted that Tim, Gaz and Quinny have accepted and signed extended contracts. It was certainly one of the easier decisions we’ve had to make as a Board!

“Personally, they are a pleasure to work with characterised by their professionalism, attention to detail and desire to win.

“We are all determined to build on last season’s exploits and develop the Club sustainably both on and off the pitch.

“At its heart, the Club is community based and Tim, Gaz and Quinny share this community vision as well as the ambition and determination to eventually gain Football League status.”

Manager Tim Flowers said: “On behalf of myself and my staff, we are all absolutely delighted to have committed our future to Solihull Moors.

“The Club has found itself moving in the right direction over the last 18 months culminating into a second-place league finish, 3rd round draw of the FA Cup and quarter-final of the FA Trophy.

“Improving on that won’t be easy and it’s a massive challenge, but a challenge that we are relishing and looking forward to pushing Solihull Moors on.”

Assistant Manager Gary Whild said: “I am delighted to be here; these are exciting times at the club. The chairman, the board and everyone involved deserve a pat on the back and hopefully we can build on last season and get out of this tough league.

“We’ve got a good management team and great set of players. I’m looking forward to getting going with the new season now that the fixtures are out.

“In terms of the last 18 months and if you look back at where we were, it’s incredible to see how things have progressed in such a short space of time. We’ve become a lot more competitive on the field, but the community and family values at the club have remained consistent which is important.”

First Team Coach James Quinn added: “I have enjoyed every minute of my time at the Moors since I came to the club. It’s been an absolute pleasure to work with Tim, Gaz, Darren and all the staff and such a special group of players.

“I’m genuinely excited about the project that the club has underway and building on the fantastic season we had last year.”
