Solihull Moors have completed the short-term loan signing of forward Jake Beesley who joins from Salford City.
The deal will run up to and including our match at Sutton United on Saturday 25th January 2020.
Beesley, 22, scored 21 goals whilst on loan at Bradford Park Avenue last season where his form helped fire them to the National League North play-offs.
Born in Sheffield, Beesley began his career with Chesterfield where he came up through the youth ranks and made his debut in October 2014 in the Football League Trophy. A first appearance in the Football League followed in November 2016 as well as a short loan spell at Shaw Lane.
He joined Salford in June 2017 before going on loan to Boston United and Bradford PA. Beesley has made eight appearances in all competitions for Salford this season and scored twice in league games against Port Vale and Plymouth.
On signing for the club, Beesley said: “I’m delighted to be here and be on board. I’m just looking forward to playing football here.
“I spoke to a few people who played against Solihull last season and they said I’ll get chances with the way they play. Hopefully I can put a few in!
“I’ve got to try and prove myself in training, do well and hopefully play as many games as possible.
“Solihull Moors are a club on the up, making big statements and they’re looking to push at the right end of the division. That’s something that attracted me.
“With back-to-back home games coming up, it would be great to get maximum points in front of our own fans.”
Beesley has been allocated the squad number 30.
