Solihull Moors are excited to announce the signing of Cambridge United striker Andrew Dallas.

The 22-year-old has signed a two-year contract and arrives at the SportNation.bet Stadium for an undisclosed fee.

Dallas was in red-hot form throughout the second half of last season, scoring 12 goals in just 25 appearances while on loan at Weymouth.

Born in Glasgow, Dallas came through the youth system at Rangers and signed his first professional contact in June 2016.

He made his first team debut whilst on loan at Stenhousemeir, scoring three goals in six appearances before a second loan with Greenock Morton.

The Scotsman was signed by Cambridge in July 2019 and scored his first goal in a 4-0 victory over Exeter City in October that year.

Dallas said: “I’m absolutely delighted, it’s been in the pipeline for a while and I can’t wait to get going.

“The facilities are great and I had a few good conversations with the manager – I want to show the fans and the league what I’m all about.

“It’s a tough league but I’ve scored goals and I’m confident that I can replicate that in this team.

“I’m always playing on the shoulder looking to run in behind and cause defenders a problem – just being a menace, really!”

Manager Neal Ardley added: “Once again I’d like to thank the board for helping us get this over the line.

“Andy is a player we’ve tracked for a while and to have the ability to pay a fee for a player we like is a massive help.

“We believe he compliments the forwards we have with his pace and power. He’s proved himself a force in this league after scoring 12 goals in half a season at Weymouth – hopefully there will be many more to come.”
