Loanee departs the ATG Stadium...

The Club can today confirm that loanee Corey O’Keeffe has returned to parent club Birmingham City.

O’Keeffe joined the Moors in August, making his debut in the 2-2 draw against Sutton United at the Automated Technology Group Stadium.

He was named Man of the Match on his first start and picked up the accolade on two other occasions against Leyton Orient and Bromley.

In total he made 18 appearances in all competitions, providing youth and versatility for Tim Flowers and the team.

His final appearance in a Solihull shirt came in the Buildbase FA Trophy victory away at Southport nine days ago, where the 20-year-old completed the full 90 minutes.

Solihull Moors would like to thank Corey for his contributions and wish him the very best of luck for the future.

Sporting Director Mark Fogarty added: “We’d like to place on record our thanks to Birmingham City for the loan of Corey.

“Corey became a valued member of our squad and provided some excellent moments during his spell with the team.

“His presence and qualities kept other players playing at the extremely high level that they did which has taken us to where we are in the league and the run in the FA Cup.

“Unfortunately, their form was a contributing factor as to why Corey didn’t get the minutes in recent games, however I’m sure he will have gained vital experienced which will no doubt help him in his future career.”
