Solihull Moors is pleased to announce the signing of DJ Campton-Sturridge on a short-term deal!

Campton-Sturridge arrives at Damson Parkway following an impressive spell whilst on trial with the club.

A product of Aston Villa’s academy, the exciting forward rose through the ranks at Bodymoor Heath until this summer where he was released from the club.

The local forward was recently on trial with Huddersfield Town, where he scored a brace for the Terriers’ B Team in a 3-3 draw with Bolton Wanderers.

Moors Head Coach Andy Whing expressed his delight on capturing his signature: " DJ is a player I really liked when he came through Aston Villa's academy who had a lot of potential but has been extremely unfortunate with injuries in the last couple of years, we want to see how he settles in and develops going forward.”

“He is fit now and impressed us all whilst on trial and can bring a different dynamic to our squad with his pace and ability to run in behind from wide or central areas.”

“We're all looking forward to seeing how he gets on over the course of his short-term deal.”

The 22-year-old will take the number 33.

Welcome to Solihull Moors, DJ! 🟡🔵
