The visitors had their first opportunity of the game in the thirteenth minute, but Gordon’s effort was comfortably held by Walker in The Moors net.

Five minutes later in the sixty sixth minute Gale had a shot from close range, but his shot could only sting the gloves of Simkin in the Walsall net.

Two minutes later in the sixty eighth minute Walsall had a chance through Josh Gordon after he was played in by Liam Gordon, but his shot was soundly saved by Walker down to his left to keep the scores level.

Moors had the best chance of the game so far in the seventy fifth minute after Stevens put a ball across the face of the box to the far post, but Stevenson’s effort could only find the side netting.
