Solihull Moors is pleased to confirm the appointment of Ian Silvester as our club secretary.

The highly experienced club secretary has worked for the likes of Liverpool, Leeds United Blackburn Rovers and Leicester City before making the move to B92 this month.

In his role, Ian will be responsible for the co-ordination, management and control of all club secretarial matters, such as pre-match preparation, EFL and National League compliance – including documentation, announcements and transfer paperwork – alongside the general administration required to ensure that Solihull Moors is run as efficiently as possible.

Ian, who hails from Leicestershire, said: “I’m delighted to be at Solihull Moors after a short break in the game! The facilities here are excellent at both Damson Park and Studley Sports Centre.”

“I’m delighted with the reception that I’ve received from the board and the staff who I’ve met as well as the players. This is definitely a club that are very ambitious, that has a very strong leadership team and board.”

Moors Director of Football, Stephen Ward, added: “I’m pleased that we have been able to bring Ian ahead of the 2024/25 season, especially at this time of pre-season!”

“Ian’s vast experience in the game will be an invaluable asset for us here at Solihull Moors, and we all look forward to working with him this season and beyond.”

Welcome to Solihull, Ian!
