In the opposite dugout โ€“ Keith Hill

Keith Hill was appointed Scunthorpe United manager in November 2021, joining the Irons following a spell at League Two side Tranmere Rovers.

Hill has a wealth of managerial experience, having overseen over 700 matches during his career. An impressive CV details two promotions from League Two, as well as ensuring a five year stay in League One for Rochdale.

During his time at Spotland, Hill also helped The Dale achieve their first promotion in 41 years alongside their highest ever league finish.

One to watch โ€“ Marcus Dewhurst

Scunthorpe goalkeeper Marcus Dewhurst will be familiar to the travelling fans, the 21-year-old having turned out for Moors in the early part of last season, when Ryan Boot was out injured.

Dewhurst signed for the Irons on a season-long loan from his parent club Sheffield United in July 2022. Since moving to The Sands Venue Stadium, he has occupied the number one spot for all three games so far.

Following his short stint with Moors, Dewhurst went on loan to Boston United last season and the shot stopper made 35 appearances for the Pilgrims, helping them reach the National League North play-off final.

And it's not just at club level that the youngster has impressed, having represented England at under 17,18,19 and 20 levels.

Last time out

The sides have only ever faced each other once before. It was a memorable occasion for Moors fans as a Stephen Gleeson double secured a memorable 3-2 win in the First Round of the FA Cup in November 2020.

Colours

Moors will wear yellow shirts, blue shorts and yellow socks with the goalkeeper in orange.

Match officials

Matthew Dicicco is the man in the middle on Saturday. Dicicco will be assisted by Ashley Allen and Reece Davies, with Macauley Gibson on fourth official duty.
