Moors are delighted to announce that goalkeeper Ryan Boot has signed a two-year contract with the club.
An ever-present in the club’s last three National League campaigns, Boot has 147 appearances and 57 clean sheets to his name in all competitions.
The 26-year-old was voted as the Supporters’ Player of the Season last time out and once again played every minute of every game for the Moors.
Boot said: “I’m delighted to get the deal sorted with the club. The fans have always been good with me since day one when I signed three years ago.
“I spoke with Neal not long ago and I can’t wait to get working with him over the next couple of years.
“Kevin Poole has been brilliant for me; his sessions are good. We always have conversations about what I can improve on, so it’s always good to work with Pooley.
“The ambition since I’ve been at the club has been to get promoted and we came close in the first season – the last two years have been difficult with Covid, but hopefully this season can be the season we get promoted.”
Manager Neal Ardley added:
“I am delighted to have secured the services of Ryan for the next two seasons.
“The goalkeeping position is one of the most important on the pitch and it was a position that I wanted to take some time to look at, assess our options and make the right decision.
“From the outset, Ryan has been in serious consideration as we know he is a high-class goalkeeper who possesses plenty of quality.
“We have remained in communication with Ryan throughout the process while we took the time to assess the position.
“He is a firm favourite with supporters and has been a key player at this club over the last three seasons, consistently performing at a high level within this division.
“I am thrilled to have Ryan on board and look forward to working with him at Moors.”
