The Gaffer on a Boxing Day cracker...

Tim Flowers on bouncing back and Nathan Blissett...

"They’ve been magnificent the players. We haven’t gone back-to-back defeats for a long time.

"Today was a terrific bounce back from us. I thought that it was a start from heaven to score early – a clinical finish from Blissett, he had a debut to remember.

"He was a proper handful all day and athletically he’s almost unplayable. Once we learn to play with him and he learns to play with us, he’ll be a massive asset to us.

"As a team we were excellent. We had to bounce back from a defeat where we were below par.

"Today we were right back on it. I thought we were bright and I couldn’t be any more delighted with them – it’s a massive three points for us."

Tim Flowers on picking up another clean sheet...

"This is a tough place to come, they beat Salford 2-0 last time here. We have to put it into perspective of what a great result it is for us.

"Clean sheets are gold dust in any division in the world, so that’s wonderful.

"It’s almost one in two (clean sheets), so we’ve got to be delighted with that. We do defend from the front and don’t just rely on Booty and the defenders to defend – we defend as a unit.

"When I see the stats and they’re covering the ground, they’re working really hard.

"As a team they’re a good set of lads and a good squad. I can call on all of them and I know that they’ll contribute and put a shift in."

Tim Flowers on the next game and a message to the Moors fans...

"We’ve got Wrexham away who had a massive win today. I’d imagine there will be a big crowd there.

"Then we play Chesterfield at home. They are tough games – it’s hard work.

"Merry Christmas to all the Moors fans, I hope they all enjoyed it. They came in numbers again today which is wonderful and their support is invaluable.

"Thanks to them and I hope to see them all at Wrexham."
