In our second instalment of our five-part series, we’re taking a look at our triumph at Aggborough Stadium, where Matt Warburton’s header secured three points against Kidderminster Harriers live on TNT Sports!

Our shortest trip of the season was our first ever visit to Kidderminster Harriers in a competitive fixture, sparking a local rivalry in the Vanarama National League.

Andy Whing’s side arrived into the fixture in fine form, still yet to taste defeat in competitive action whilst Harriers at the time had only recorded one win in their first eight fixtures.

600 travelling Solihull supporters were sent into dreamland in the 15th minute as Warburton’s header looped over Chris Dibble to hand us the lead.

It was then a resolute defensive display from former Harrier’s man Kyle Morrison as we saw out an onslaught with attacks from the hosts for the remainder of the match.

Kidderminster had a golden chance to equalise, as Hemmings unleashed an effort on the Moors goal, but his shot didn’t stay low enough to strike the target.

Reiss McNally provided another chance for the host’s, but Morrison was on hand to deny the former Moors defender In the dying embers of the match.
