Over the next few weeks, we'll cast our mind back to some memorable wins during an unforgettable season for all associated with Solihull Moors as we achieved well above expectation.

Starting off with our first away win of the season, a trip to Kent beckoned for Solihull as we made the journey south to take on Ebbsfleet United.

Andy Whing had just secured the loan signing of Jay Benn from Lincoln City just a few days before the fixture, with the youngster being thrown in at the deep end as we visited the Fleet.

In his first match for the Club, Benn notched an assist just before the end of the first-half, setting up Matt Warburton who scored our first of the afternoon.

Spurred on by over 60 travelling Silhillians, Warburton doubled our lead in front of the Moors faithful shortly after the restart which set us on course for our first win of the 2023/24 season.

The Fleet did pull one back through Greg Cundle. The ball was played out to McQueen on the right-hand side who crossed it into Cundle who calmly finished to make it a nervous finish in our first away match of the season.
