Title: Lead Physiotherapist

Responsible to: 1st Team Manager .

Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Physiotherapist to manage the rehabilitation and injury prevention of our players. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports physiotherapy, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to player care.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and diagnosis of injuries

  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans

  • Provide pitch-side support during training sessions and matches

  • Collaborate with coaching staff to develop injury prevention programs

  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of treatments and progress

  • Educate players on injury prevention and health management

  • Stay updated with the latest research and techniques in sports physiotherapy

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy or Sports Therapy (or equivalent)

  • Be ITMIiF certified - or have a willingness to become ITMIiF Certified

  • Experience in sports physiotherapy, preferably in football

  • Strong understanding of injury prevention and rehabilitation

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Desirable:

  • Previous experience working with a women's football team

  • Additional certifications in sports massage, or similar therapies.

  • Hold a Driving License
