Solihull Moors host AFC Telford United tomorrow afternoon (3.00pm kick off) at The Automated Technology Group Stadium in the quarter-final of the Buildbase FA Trophy. Here’s your full match preview…

The Moors went in to their game with Barnet last Saturday looking to make it four wins from four in all competitions. The hosts came from two goals behind, with Kyle Storer’s last gasp equaliser securing a well-deserved point.

The visitors looked to bounce back from two losses and a draw against Ashton United on Tuesday. Two goals apiece from ex-Moors man Daniel Udoh and Amari Morgan-Smith gave the Bucks all three points.

In the opposite dugout

Gavin Cowan is in his first managerial spell with AFC Telford. The 37-year-old, who is well known to Solihull Moors supporters after being part of the team that guided them to champions of the National League, has enjoyed a strong start to the season which sees the Bucks sitting in a play-off place in the National League North.

Opposition key man

Daniel Udoh (Striker) – The Nigerian born striker joined the Bucks from Crewe after having loan spells with Halesowen, Chester, Leamington and Solihull Moors where he made just four appearances for the Moors. He already has an impressive record this season notching 21 goals so far.

A quote from the Manager

Tim Flowers: “They score goals, create chances, play quite an expansive system and they like to pass the ball through you.”

Team News

Lee Vaughan and Manny Agboola are cup-tied, while Danny Wright and Luke Maxwell are serving the last game of their three-match suspension.

This game is ALL ticket and supporters will not be able to pay on the turnstile. However, a ticket booth will be open outside the ground prior to the game for supporters wishing to pay on the day.
