Solihull Moors begin their 2019/20 Emirates FA Cup campaign with a trip to face Barrow AFC in the fourth qualifying round on Saturday afternoon.

The Moors have already faced the Bluebirds in the league this season, in a game that ended 3-0 to the hosts at Holker Street.

In the fourth qualifying round last season, the Moors were 2-0 winners at Witton Albion thanks to goals from Adi Yussuf and Liam Daly.

Here's your full match preview...

Form

Barrow are the form team in the National League, having won all of their last seven encounters. They sit in fourth place with a game in hand on those around them.

The Moors have seen an upturn in results recently, with four home wins on the belt moving Tim Flowers' side up to sixth.

In the Opposite Dugout – Ian Evatt

Former central defender Evatt made over 500 career appearances in his playing days, but is now in the hot-seat at Holker Street.

A short spell in charge at Chesterfield as caretaker ended in the club's relegation to the National League, but he swiftly took over at Barrow in the summer of 2018.

In his first season in charge, Evatt guided his side to a comfortable 11th place finish in the fifth tier.

Opposition Key Man – John Rooney

The 28-year-old is a dangerman from midfield and has already netted eight goals this season. Two of those came against the Moors last month, as he beat Ryan Boot with two free kicks.

Last Time We Met - Barrow 3-0 Solihull Moors (14/09/19)

John Rooney's first half brace was added to by a Scott Quigley strike early in the second as the hosts ran away with all three points. The misery was compiled for the Moors as Tyrone Williams received his marching orders for a second booking.

Did You Know?

Barrow have twice won non-league football's highest cup competition, the FA Trophy - in 1990 and 2010, becoming the only non-league club to have won the trophy at both the old and new Wembley Stadium.
