It’s a clash of the top two on Saturday as Solihull Moors travel to the Laithwaite Community Stadium to face Woking.
The Moors are the division’s top scorers this season, however they are presented with the task of unlocking a Woking side who have conceded just three goals in their opening five fixtures.

Tim Flowers’ side have made a formidable start to the campaign, embarking on a four-game winning run following an opening day draw against Harrogate Town.
Most recently, Ebbsfleet United looked to inflict a first league defeat on the Moors at the SportNation.bet Stadium, but after racing into an early lead, goals from Jamey Osborne and a Jack King own goal turned the game on its head.
Woking have made a bright start to life in the Vanarama National League themselves, also winning four of their first five games following promotion last term.
The Cards followed an impressive 2-1 win at Chesterfield with a 4-1 demolition of AFC Fylde last time out. Dave Tarpey and Kane Ferdinand fired Woking into a 2-0 lead, before substitute Jake Hyde added gloss to the scoreline with a late brace.
In the Opposite Dugout – Alan Dowson
The Gateshead-born manager guided Hampton & Richmond Borough to the Isthmian League Premier Division title in 2015-16, before making the switch to Woking in 2018.
Under Dowson’s leadership, the Cards finished 2nd in the National League South, eventually winning the play-off final against Welling United.
Of 58 games managed, Woking have won an impressive 35 times, losing on 13 occasions.
Opposition Key Man – Max Kretzschmar
The midfielder played a crucial role in Woking’s promotion back to the Vanarama National League, scoring 24 goals (16 league) including a vital equaliser in the play-off semi-final victory over Wealdstone in May.
Last season’s memorable campaign saw Kretzschmar scoop the prize for the manager’s Player of the Year award and top goalscorer. He will be hoping for a similarly productive season this time around.
Last Time We Met – Solihull Moors 3-0 Woking (20/01/18)
Solihull won comprehensively against Saturday’s opponents in January 2018 to give themselves hope of a chance of survival.
Kwame Thomas fired the Moors into a 6th minute lead before a second half double from Jermaine Hylton wrapped up the three points.
A quote from the Gaffer
Tim Flowers: "Woking have just won 4-1 at Fylde. They're a huge side, have big throws and at the minute they're on fire.
"It's going to be a tough game and I would imagine there will be a good crowd. We've got to go down there and make sure we put a performance on"
