Solihull Moors Foundation & Solihull Moors FC are proud to announce their support for Unite for Access, a nationwide initiative dedicated to making matchdays inclusive and accessible for all disabled supporters.

This special focus will take place at the Solihull Moors FC vs Gateshead FC fixture on Saturday, 7th March, where the club and community will come together to celebrate accessibility in football and reaffirm a shared commitment to removing barriers for disabled fans.

What is Unite for Access?

Unite for Access is an awareness campaign led by the football community and disability advocacy organisations to highlight the importance of accessible matchday experiences. The initiative encourages clubs, supporters and partners to work collaboratively to ensure that disabled people can enjoy football in a safe, welcoming and fully inclusive environment. It also shines a light on the work being done across the game to improve facilities, services, and attitudes so that everyone can participate - both in the stands and on the pitch.

Solihull Moors Foundation & Solihull Moors FC's Commitment

Inclusion is at the heart of our values. We are both committed to identifying and removing any barriers that may prevent disabled supporters from fully enjoying the matchday experience. From accessible seating and facilities to inclusive communication and supporter engagement, the Club & foundation continue to work closely with fans and partner organisations to make football truly for everyone.

Join Us on 7th March

We warmly welcome disabled supporters connected with Solihull Moors Foundation & Solihull Moors FC, along with individuals and groups from local disability charities, to join us at the Solihull Moors FC vs Gateshead FC matchday. This will be an opportunity to celebrate the diversity of our fanbase, share experiences and demonstrate how football can unite communities through accessibility and respect.

By standing together under the Unite for Access banner, Solihull Moors Foundation & Solihull Moors FC and its supporters are sending a clear message: football should be accessible to all, and everyone deserves to feel part of the game.

Solihull Moors travel to Scunthorpe on Saturday, 28 th February, for another National League fixture. The Moors were due to play Woking earlier this week in the National League, but following a pitch inspection, the game was postponed. The Moors sit in 11 th place with 42 points, the same as Aldershot Town and Tamworth, but only a point separates Solihull from Boston United, who have played two more games than The Moors. Solihull Moors have managed to score seven goals in their last five matches and haven’t lost to Scunthorpe United in their last five meetings with the side. The hosts this week, Scunthorpe, have lost four and drawn one of their last five games. Their most recent outing saw them host York City on Tuesday evening, which saw York come out victorious in a 3-0 victory. Scunthorpe currently sit in 5 th place in terms of the table with 60 points. A win on Saturday would further secure their chances of getting promoted at the end of the season. Last time these two teams met was November last year, which saw The Moors win 3-0 at Damson Park. Three goals came from Tyrese Sinclair, Steven Bradley, who received a red card 11 minutes after scoring, and Tyler French. Predicted lineups: Scunthorpe United: Mahady, Starbuck, Boyce, Horton, Denton, Rowley, Ubaezuonu, Westbrooke, Beestin, Roberts, Whitehall. Solihull Moors: Walker, Clarke, French, Whitmore, Green, High, Moore, Lipsiuc, Worman, Wakeling, Wilkinson Players to watch Scunthorpe United – Callum Roberts 28-year-old Callum Roberts could be a crucial player to the hosts this week. Since being promoted back to the National League at the end of the 2024/25 season, Roberts has been none stop scoring for Scunthorpe. Currently named as the club’s top goal scorer and 5 th in the league, Roberts has scored 15 goals so far this season and grabbed six assists showcasing that he can be a real threat to defenders. After not winning a game in their last five fixtures, Scunthorpe will be wanting to win this weekend in an attempt to make their position in the table more secure. Solihull Moors – Cameron Green As The Moors face 6th-place Scunthorpe United, Solihull may look to Cameron Green. Green’s abilities allow him to not only operate as a solid defender on the left, but also offer attacking threats further up the pitch. Although he’s only offered one assist so far this season, Green has been an engine at the back for The Moors as he is more than capable of covering a significant amount of ground throughout the full 90 minutes as he proves to be a constant threat in all areas. The 26-year-old also has bags of experience playing for Reading U18’s and U23’s, Watford U23’s as well as Wrexham, Braintree and Boston United. With his high work rate and his threats at both ends of the pitch, The Moors may be looking towards Cameron Green. - Match Report written by Emily O'Dwyer
