Solihull Moors is delighted to announce reduced matchday ticket prices for supporters aged 12 to 24 ahead of the 2026/27 National League season, alongside the introduction of a new free Young Supporters Membership Scheme. The initiative forms part of the Club’s ongoing commitment to making football more accessible and affordable for younger supporters, encouraging the next generation of Moors fans to attend matches and become lifelong supporters. The free membership scheme has also been developed to help the Club maintain a safe, welcoming and family-friendly matchday environment, while ensuring supporters under the age of 16 attend fixtures alongside a responsible adult. Young Supporter Matchday Prices The following prices will be available for all home National League fixtures during the 2026/27 season: Under-12s: £1 with a paying adult Ages 12-15: £7.50 with a paying adult Ages 16-24: £11 All supporters wishing to purchase a ticket in one of these age categories must register for the Club’s free Young Supporters Membership Scheme. Membership Benefits Every registered young supporter will receive: One complimentary match ticket One complimentary guest ticket for a supporter aged 15 or under A birthday message from the Club A personalised Young Supporters Membership Card Memberships are personal to the registered holder and cannot be transferred, shared or lent to another supporter. Misuse of a membership card may result in the membership being withdrawn. Chairman Darryl Eales said: "The club is always trying to encourage the younger generation to become loyal and lifelong Moors supporters and I’m delighted that we have been able to reduce match day prices for 12 to 24 year old supporters. At the same time, we are mindful of the feedback of many supporters last season about the behaviour of a small section of younger fans. We are seeking to address this, in part, with a membership scheme, which also includes a free game, so as to ensure behaviour can be monitored more effectively and u16’s are attending games with responsible adult. This is for the collective benefit. No solution is perfect, but I hope fans will work with us to make the new system work and feedback any improvements. We want Moors to build on its reputation as a welcoming, family friendly community club where supporters are passionate in their support of the team but disruptive and disrespectful behaviour is not tolerated. I love the sense of excitement the new season brings and look forward to welcoming everyone to the first home game of the season against Boston” How to Apply The Young Supporters Membership Scheme is completely free to join. Applicants will need to provide: Their full name Their home address Their date of birth A recent photograph Photographic proof of identity Next-of-kin contact details Applications should be emailed to the Ticket Office at ticketing@solihullmoorsfc.co.uk The Ticket Office will review each application and will either approve it, decline it or contact the applicant if any further information is required. Once approved, the membership will also be linked to the email address used within the Club’s ticketing system. Photographic Identification Photographic proof of identity is required as part of the application process. The Club recognises that younger supporters may not hold a passport or driving licence. A CitizenCard or Post Office PASS card will be accepted as photographic identification for the scheme. The membership card will display the member’s photograph, full name, date of birth and next-of-kin contact number. Collection arrangements are as follows: Under-12s and ages 12-15: A parent or guardian must be present to sign for the membership card. Ages 16-24: Members may collect their card without a parent or guardian present. Further information about when and where cards can be collected will be provided once an application has been approved. Matchday Entry Supporters must present their valid membership card when entering Damson Park using a young supporter ticket. Under-12s and ages 12–15 must enter through Turnstiles 1 or 2 alongside their parent or guardian. Supporters aged 16–24 must enter through Turnstile 3. Under-16s must attend with a responsible adult and will not be permitted to enter the stadium unaccompanied. Purchase Match Tickets Once their membership has been approved, supporters can purchase tickets in advance through the Club’s ticketing website. The Club strongly encourages young supporters and their parents or guardians to complete the free registration process before attending a fixture.

Solihull Moors were blown away in the end by Harrogate Town in today's National League opener. After looking like performing a stunning second half comeback, pulling back to 2-2 from 2-0 down, The Moors fell to an eventual 5-2 loss to a very strong Harrogate side. Harrogate started the game on the front foot but couldn't find a way past new keeper Max Metcalfe on his Moors debut, or the superb Alex Whitmore until just before half time. After saving an early free-kick, former Stockport stopper Metcalfe confidently took a couple of nice catches, and then pulled off a terrific save from Harrogate new-boy Brad Dolaghan, one of seven debutants for the home side, brilliantly palming the ball away with a strong left hand in what was a solid start for our new number 1. Dolaghan, who was a constant threat for Harrogate, mis-hit a shot after superbly taking a cross under his control, Metcalfe happy to collect the weak effort. A minute before the break, Harrogate defender Archie Baptiste took advantage of a lucky bounce just outside the box, and on the half volley unleashed a tremendous finish out of nowhere to put his side a goal ahead on his debut for the club. 1-0. Ben Wodskou came on for the second half, replacing Henry Rylah, as Chris Millington looked to get his side back into the game. A couple of counter attacks and crosses came to nothing, as The Moors searched for chances. Matty Carson coming closest, striking a free kick narrowly over the bar from around 25 yards Bryn Morris scored Harrogate's second goal, after having a powerful drive blocked by Whitmore, the captain's second attempt took a heavy deflection off Tyrell Warren, the ball looping up and over Metcalfe's grasp. 2-0 Wodskou was desperately unlucky to have a shot deflected just wide, following a good run into the box by Wakeling. Metcalfe again did well to catch a rasping effort from Morris. Bailey Hobson fizzed an effort just over the bar from distance as the hosts looked to increase their lead further. Wakeling gave The Moors a lifeline on 71 minutes with an instinctive header. After winning the original corner with a decent strike, our number 9 reacted lightning fast to nod substitute Ben Wodskou's effort into the back of the net. Game on 2-1. As the tide began to turn in The Moors favour, Wakeling twice went close to the equaliser, coming agonisingly close to scoring after good balls into the box. When it was looking like been one of those days where the equaliser just wouldn't come, Tyler French popped up in the box to flick home from a few yards out following another dangerous corner, and another Wodskou assist. The former Brackley man causing carnage from set-pieces since coming on for the second half. 2-2 At this point with Harrogate desperately trying to hang on and Solihull looking to net a late winner, the home side won a free kick on the right-hand side of the box. A powerful low effort hit Ciaran McGuckin and somehow found it's way into Metcalfe's goal in the most fortunate of circumstances. 3-2 The game was put out of reach in the 90th minute. McGuckin scored again, this time cutting in from the left before unleashing a wonderful curling effort beyond the reach of the goalkeeper. 4-2 Rohan Vaughan then notched Harrogate's 5th goal on his debut to wrap up a thrilling game 5 minutes into injury time. Having a thunderous right footed effort well saved, before cutting back and placing into the far corner on his left. 5-2. Game over. A massive thank you to the away supporters that travelled today. Solihull Moors are delighted to announce the signing of Henry Rylah on a two-month loan from Charlton Athletic. The 20-year-old joined Charlton at Under-12 level and quickly earned a reputation for his pace and ability on the ball. After impressing at Under-18 and Under-21 level, Rylah signed his first professional contract with the Addicks in May 2023 before making three senior appearances during the 2023/24 campaign. The exciting attacker spent the first half of 2026 on loan with League of Ireland Premier Division side Derry City, where he gained valuable senior experience. Rylah made 15 appearances across all competitions for the Candystripes, scoring twice and providing one assist before returning to Charlton in June. Speaking about Rylah’s arrival, Chris Millington added: “Henry is an exciting, quick, young winger. His directness will help contribute to our style of play. Solihull Moors are delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Max Metcalfe from Stockport County. Standing at a towering 6ft 6in, Metcalfe adds further strength and presence to the Moors’ goalkeeping department. The shot-stopper is no stranger to National League football, having gained valuable senior experience during loan spells with Spennymoor Town, AFC Fylde, Marine and Oxford City. Metcalfe now makes the move to Damson Park ahead of the 2026/27 campaign. On his latest addition, Moors First Team Manager, Chris Millington said: “We were delighted to have the opportunity to sign Max. He brings excellent presence and character allied with a high level of goalkeeping ability. He has integrated quickly into the group and he is itching to get started for Moors." The Moors will host Middlesbrough Under-21s, Leeds United Under-21s, Newcastle United Under-21s and Everton Under-21s at Damson Park. Moors fans, the wait is finally over. The Enterprise National League is officially back! Strap yourselves in and get ready for the excitement, the drama, the highs and the lows that only football can bring. Looking to get off to a good start, the opening game of the season sees us take a trip to The Marcy Fitness Stadium, home of Harrogate Town, backed by a sold out coach full of our incredible away support. We'll need more of the same again this season if we're to achieve our goals! Pre-season round-up - A mixed set of results and performances in pre-season were to be expected following a busy summer of change, with manager Chris Millington making numerous signings so far, aswell as the Club also saying goodbye to some big players. Knowle FC 1-0 Solihull Moors The Moors first match back was a loss to Knowle. Game time for a large chunk of the squad was the main aim, with plenty of players getting minutes against our newly-promoted neighbours. Alverchurch 1-1 Solihull Moors Joe Sbarra, signed back on a permanent contract, netted the equaliser in an end-to-end game away at Alverchurch, with both sides playing some lovely football in an entertaining contest. Solihull Moors 0-3 Birmingham City Solihull were defeated comfortably by the Championship side, who fielded a strong starting 11 in our annual Arthur Cup match. Blues will be aiming for promotion to the Premier League next year, so you'll struggle to find a better side visiting Damson Park this season. Hednesford 1-2 Solihull Moors Charlie Footes, who has since signed his first professional contract, again showed why he has broken into the first team squad, with another two assists against Hednesford. Conor Wilkinson equalised, before Kian Ryley scored to secure the first win of pre-season for The Moors after earlier falling a goal behind to a Jamie Cooke strike. Hereford 0-3 Solihull Moors Fresh from the Hednesford win, Solihull took on Hereford. A solid showing and another good result saw a second goal in two games for Ryley, a tremendous finish from new signing Junior Tiensia, and an own goal secure the win for The Moors. Solihull Moors 1-1 Burton Albion One of the strongest performances of pre-season, holding our own against a side two divisions above. Both teams had chances to win the game after Ben Worman equalised in the first half, in what was a solid result for The Moors. Solihull Moors 2-4 Northampton The final warm-up game before the League season begins started off well for the home side, Cam Green rifling home to put Solihull 1-0 up. Northampton responded by going into a commanding 4-1 lead, before Jacob Wakeling reduced the deficit towards the end, the final score 4-2. This was after the original formation of the club was postponed from 1914, due to the war. In their first season, they were crowned winners of the Whitworth Cup, coming out 4-0 victors against Ripon City in the final. In 1920, they joined the newly formed Yorkshire League and moved to their new ground Wetherby Lane, a stadium that later played host to more than 15,000 supporters in a friendly against Sheffield United. The Club disbanded in the 1930/1931 season, and weren't re-formed until 1935, taking on the name 'Harrogate Hotspurs'. Another name change happened in 1948, this time to the current 'Harrogate Town'. The 1962/63 season saw them lift the County Cup, before hitting another successful spell in the 70s. 1981/82 brought the last ever Yorkshire League Division Two title win, just before the league joined up with the Midland League, to create the Northern Counties East League. Floodlights we're installed at their home ground in 1982, and to mark the occasion, Leeds United sent their entire squad to the opening, with Eddie Gray switching on the lights for the first time. The Sulphurites won the UniBond League Division One in the 2001/02 season, storming to the title by finishing 10 points clear of second place. 5th and 6th placed finishes in the following two seasons showed the steady progress the Club had been making, and also earned them the right to enter the Conference North. The Club again finished in 6th place, aswell as earning their place in the first round of the FA Cup, losing on penalties to Torquay. 2009/10 was a poor season for the Club, finishing bottom of the league, only to be offered a reprieve due to the fact several other teams in the league went bankrupt,and they were offered their place back. Their highest ever league position was secured in the 2015/16 season, finishing 4th and earning their place in the play-offs, oy to be knocked out by AFC Fylde. The Club made the big decision to operate full time from 2017/18, a season that saw Harrogate achieve promotion to the National League, for the first time in their history, courtesy of the play-offs. The first season started off incredibly well for them, climbing to the top of the table after 11 games, eventually finishing in 6th place. History was made again in the covid-hit 2019/20 season, when the Club claimed promotion to the Football League. Whilst sat in 2nd position behind Barrow, the league decided to end the season due to the pandemic, therefore putting Harrogate in the play-offs. They beat Boreham Wood in the semi-final, and then Notts County 3-1 in the final, in front of no fans, to claim their place in League Two. Their first season in League Two was played mostly behind closed doors, as fans were still kept away because of covid. The 2021/22 season ended on a high as Town lifted the 2019/20 FA Trophy, which had been delayed due to the pandemic, at Wembley Stadium with Josh Falkingham scoring the winning goal against Concord Rangers. The Club reached the third round of the FA Cup in 21/22, before achieving their highest ever league position in the 23/24 campaign, finishing in 13th place in League Two. Town were relegated at the end of 25/26, bringing to an end 6 seasons of league football. Major stadium upgrades were announced at the end of the season, including a new stand that will increase the grounds seating to over 2000. Not to hang around and feel sorry for themselves after dropping down a division, Harrogate, managed by Simon Weaver, have also invested heavily in their playing squad. The most recent two to arrive are Halifax's Josh Hmami, and National League South top scorer Brad Dolaghan signing in the last few days to showing their ambitions for the season.
