Conor Wilkinson: “We Need To Get Back To Winning Ways.”
Conor Wilkinson had his say as The Moors’ host Gateshead FC on Saturday.
The Moors host Gateshead FC on Saturday 7th March, where three points could push Solihull ahead of Tamworth, back into 10th place.
After scoring four goals in the last five games, inform Conor Wilkinson said “I think I’ve had a bit of a tough season. I think I’ve started 13 games this season, which is obviously nowhere near good enough, but the return is obviously what I’ve been trying to get to and long may it continue hopefully.
“We’re a bit disheartened to not get all three points on Saturday against Scunthorpe and the results haven’t really gone our way previously. It’s been tough the conditions we’ve played in.
“I think we’re just waiting to get that win again and start another winning ride and hopefully push ourselves back up the table.
“I think a win this weekend would be massive. We know we need to get back to winning ways if we do want to achieve anything this season, it’s on our minds and we are looking to do that.
“We go to away places, and they have their fans and we’re the same. When we’re playing at home it does help to have a home advantage and always helps the team. Hopefully if our fans can be noisy and get behind us it’s a 12-man feeling.”
